The Format
Women's teams play two pools of three into best-of-three semifinals and a final, plus classification playoffs so every team gets a final placing. Women's teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches.

Part of a $1,500 cash prize pool across all four grades. Third place in every grade takes home Babolat gear, thanks to our equipment partner Babolat.
Player Licence · Required
Both players must hold a current Padel New Zealand Player Licence (valid 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027; $25 for the annual term), purchased before registrations close. A current Player Licence is a condition of entry.
Good to Know
The Bayleys Padel Open is a club-run Tier 2 event sanctioned by Padel New Zealand, hosted at Padel Park (82 Duke Street, Frankton, Hamilton) — an indoor venue with ceiling clearance above the recommended 8 metres. Tier 2 Padel New Zealand ranking points will be awarded in accordance with the Padel New Zealand Ranking System. Scoring is Golden Point (No-Ad), and all matches are self-refereed. The schedule is actively managed to give players a minimum of 60 minutes’ rest between their matches wherever practicable. By entering you agree to the event Terms & Conditions.
